*We talked about using Audacity to edit audio files and export content into mp3 format, which is the preferred file format for podcasting audio files (compact and compatible with podcatchers). You can download a free copy of Audacity and enjoy editing sound bites to enhance podcasts. In order to export the audio file as an mp3, download the LAME plug-in (see help page at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&i=lame-mp3).
